I know I’ve been endlessly frustrated when I don’t get a response to a message…or when I’m waiting for confirmation. After a while I realized…iPhone users don’t receive the same message alerts. There is no anxiety provoking flashing red light for them. There is no aggressive cuing system that demands a response. Maybe it’s just something I pretend to myself, to prevent me from being even more frustrated at other people’s communication patterns…but maybe not. Someday, someone will do research on this.
